One Month to Learn French...

At the moment I am comfortably situated between moving boxes and my cats... (They seem to like the warmth of my laptop) I'm about to leave my beloved city of Chicago for Evanston, IL to live below my band mates. Now when I'm awake at 2 am with a song idea I can wake up the Bennett brothers instead of my neighbors!

So... Funny story...

Two days ago a friend sent me a text wondering where I was moving, and I told her my husband and I were leaving for France. I was just messing with her, but I had her going for quite a bit. I actually had her convinced my husband was going back to school for botany, which I found amusing... Apparently some French vibes were in the air, because yesterday morning I was presented with the opportunity to go on tour in France! So crazy!

I am super excited to announce that I will joining Chicago artists MUSIKANTO and AMI SARAIYA for the Trans-Atlantic Nights Festival in France and Germany. May 25- June 1st.

ALSO... for my Ohio friends and family... I will be seeing you soon! I'm hitting the road next week (APRIL 18-21) with my fearless Banjo playing husband Charlie Mammoser, and multi-instrumentalist-extraordinaire- Randy Mollner on Fiddle... Mandolin and anything else he decides to pick up. We are going to be touring with the CORDOVAS featuring JOE FIRSTMAN, and we will be making our way through the great state of Ohio.
